Tracker S5 Plus
Offering exceptional levels of security for premium and luxury vehicles the TRACKER S5 Plus is unrivalled in the industry. TRACKER S5 Plus meets the insurance requirements of the Thatcham S5 standard, providing a defence against vehicle theft and is installed only by our Thatcham approved installers at your work place or home for convenience.
Driver tags are provided to identify that the driver of the vehicle is authorised, if a tag is not present when the vehicle is started, an alert will be generated and the customer will be contacted to confirm the vehicle’s location
Tracker S5 Plus has the unique VHF (very high frequency), Motion Sensor and with the added benefit of Global Positioning System (GPS) and GSM Locater for faster vehicle retrieval, using the network system fully supported by all UK police forces. There is no visible aerial or other identifying feature so the thief can’t see it and won’t know it’s there.
Unlike GPS and GSM based systems, VHF can still recover your vehicle even if it is in an underground car park, a shipping container or transported in a covered trailer. As soon as the active unit is within range of a Tracker equipped Police Vehicle it will be identified through a unique code known only to Tracker and the Police.
You will have the ability to view your vehicle online on the MY TRACKER webpage at all times or via the app, download below.
Driving and journey reports are included, as well as reporting on private and business mileage.
How does it work?
Notify
If your vehicle is stolen without the driver tag or is lifted & towed away, TRACKER S5 will alert the SOC who will contact you to notify you of a possible theft.
Activate
Once you report the theft to the police & obtain the crime reference number, we will activate the tracking unit which will emit a unique VHF signal & GPS position.
Track
The police will use TRACKER receivers in their patrol vehicles & helicopters to locate your stolen vehicle.
Secure
Your vehicle will be identified & secured & a SOC security guard will wait with your vehicle until recovery can be arranged if required.
Recover
The SOC will arrange for the recovery company to return your vehicle to you anywhere in mainland Great Britain.
