If your vehicle is stolen Tracker will establish the exact location of the stolen vehicle using VHF technology.

Tracker’s Very High Frequency (VHF) stolen vehicle recovery systems work like an electronic homing device. A covert transmitter is hidden discretely in one of several places around your vehicle. There is no visible aerial or other identifying feature so the thief can’t see it and won’t know it’s there. Unlike GPS and GSM based systems, VHF can still recover your vehicle even if it is in a container, underground or transported in a covered trailer. As soon as the active unit is within range of a Tracker equipped Police Vehicle it will be identified through a unique code known only to Tracker and the Police. Tracker Plant generates an alert if your vehicle is moved without your knowledge – Tracker then contact you to ensure your vehicle is secure.

How does TRACKER Plant work?

Notify
The motion sensor on TRACKER Plant transmits data when your assets are moved from one site to another, even when the ignition is switched off – so you get a more accurate view of where and how your plant is being used.

A breach in geofencing and curfew rules will notify you of illegal movements or theft.

Activate
You must contact the Police to report the vehicle as stolen and obtain a Crime Reference Number or equivalent validation. You must then inform TRACKER and the system will be activated.

Track
The police will use TRACKER receivers in their patrol vehicles and helicopters to locate your stolen vehicle.

Secure
Your vehicle will be identified and secured and a uniformed security guard can wait with vehicle until recovery if required.

Recover
Vehicles can be recovered from anywhere in Europe to a UK location of your choice up to 3 and a half tonnes.
